Dundee Cyclathon. 2009

Are you a cyclist? Looking for a fun day out?
Then don’t miss this year’s Dundee Cyclathon!
Last year, this annual charity event, organised by Claverhouse Rotary Club, attracted over 500 participants and over £30,000 was raised for local charities.
This year’s nominated charity is Cash For Kids, though entrants have the choice of choosing a charity or cause of their own choice.

The club awards dinner will take place at 19:30 on Saturday 23rd May 2009 at the Tayview. Cost is £15 please book in advance through Marcus. A large turnout is expected so please book early if you wish to attend.

To help raise funds for Harris Academy FP Hockey club we will be holding a musical concert on Saturday 25th April at St Stephen's Church Hall, Home Street, Broughty Ferry.

The evening will feature music from leading West End Shows, Motown classic and pop music classics from throughout the decades and will be a fantastic show put on by 4 superb local singers.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for school child.

Harris Academy FP Hockey Club are pleased to announce that their annual Easter Hockey Camp will take place at the DISC Sports Centre from Tuesday 14th April till Thursday 16th April.  The camp will run from 10am to 1pm each day.

Coaching will be carried out by qualified and disclosure checked coaches from the club who have been involved with districts training programmes.  The cost of the camp will be £25 for the 3 days or £10 per day and each participant will receive a free t shirt for taking part.

Hockey Camp run by Harris Academy FP Hockey Club and Harris Hawks. 

Open to both boys and girls aged 10-16. 

Tues 14th - Thurs 16th April. 

10am till 1pm @ Astroturf pitches, DISC.

The Dundee Cyclathon takes place on Sunday 21st September.

Our annual bike farce around the roads and the miles of Bonnie Dundee is a great fundraising opportunity. This is the one and only event where we ask you to complete sponsor forms, so please print the attached document and begin collecting sponsors.

Each rider is expected to raise at least £30 of sponsorship, with no upper limit.

The record individual collection from the last two years is £360...so a challenge to everyone to try and top that!

The Harris Hawks Funday took place at DISC on Saturday 30th August. The aim of the day was to introduce the club to those attending our coaching sessions at Harris Academy and the feeder primary schools of Blackness, Park Place and Ancrum Road. The event was also publicised in the local press and open to young players from other schools who do not currently have contact with Harris F.P.
